"Mr. White has been making my wands since 381 B.C. and I have always been very pleased with them. I've been around long enough to have seen the quality of many wand makers, and Mr. White is definitely the best. If you feel you have reached a plateau in your magical abilities, hie thee hence to White's Wands. With one of his wands you could reach heights you only dreamed of before. They even could have made a decent wizard out of a certain Mr. G. Lockhart (although it's too late for him now, poor thing--don't suffer his fate). If you want to give your spells that extra edge, that true shine of advanced magic, I recommend a wand by White's Wands. Mr. Olivander, you're good, but there's a new wand maker in the Alley."
"1. The finish is even smoother than the McGonagall. To touch the surface is to touch marble turned to wood.2. I love the grain, the figuring. It swirls and moves over the wand in a mesmerizing pattern. It reminds me of some luxury sports car, designed to look as though it is moving even though it is standing still. My eye never stops moving.3. The handle fits my hand perfectly. Not so small I have to include the shaft in part of my grip nor so large that I keep moving my hand to find a better grip.4. The balance is in just the right spot. Not so far down the handle that it feels heavy, nor so far down the shaft that it tends to tilt forward. Right before the handle where it belongs (I know, I balanced it on my finger).5. The color is wonderful. Light brown to set off the grain but not too yellow so as to seem garish. This is not a wand that Rita Skeeter would carry. Much to classy.6. I love the tiny little ball on the end of the handle. It's things like that that make me wonder how you make these wands. It's so small and yet so perfect.7. The symmetry of the carving is astonishing. Twirl it round and not a bump or hollow can be seen.8. Twirl it in the sun and it sparkles like diamonds (and I will admit I'm terribly fond of anything sparkly--like diamonds--even if I don't have any).9. Once again I love how you took the time to place the grain upon the wand so that it is centered on top of the larger ball in the handle. Tis true, you are a perfectionist.10. I just plain love it. Right now, yew if my favorite wood. Make me more."
You may get to the point where you do nothing but custom wands. There are others (who shall not be named) who offer custom wands, but their quality is a joke compared to yours. For those people interested in beautiful custom wands, you really are the only good source I've seen.
Thank you so much! I received the "Dark Apprentice" this afternoon. It is lovely. Well balanced, as you said! You only sent me two business cards! None-the-less, I will mention your work to my friends!
Yours are the best wands I have found on the web due to the fact that you are able (willing?) to incorporate personal elements (cores) into the creations.
WOW!
How can I ever thank you? To say the wand is a beauty is not enough. You really did capture the spirit of what I needed, and wanted.
I have been to many other wand shops and I've noticed that yours, by far, offers the most beautiful wands I have ever seen. I have been searching for a wand for practically 2 years now and when I found your shop, I felt my search was over.
