English Yew is a rich warm golden color and has highly figured grain. A whimsical wand, though powerful in effect. The handle is of five different woods layered together: Padauk, Rosewood, Oak, Purple heart and Bocote. This makes for a somewhat unstable wand in the hands of a novice, but is tempered together with the yew. In the hands of a gifted wizard it can be formidable. Click picture for Detail
